Tech, Health & Wellness Start-ups are the Catalysts to Creating a Better World.

Conscious businesses are making the revolution happen.

Technology-based businesses, who are working to align technology with our health goals and values.

Holistic health professionals who are teaching people how to use natural remedies and their own body to heal.

Wellness teachers and Fitness coaches spreading their knowledge on yoga, meditation and mindfulness techniques and fitness.

Coaches and speakers educating people on things like life skills and financial literacy.

These are the businesses who are helping the people who keep the rest of the world running.

Wellness is a niche but as more people look toward these techniques, the effect compounds. One person finds a healthy way and naturally they spread the word to others - it spreads like wildfire and we're starting to see the effects.

Children of the next generation are being educated on wellness in new ways that haven’t been seen in western culture before. Breaks for yoga and meditation are now being integrated into classrooms, lunch programs are being re-evaluated and entire curriculums are shifting. We're raising the healthiest generation ever - and with that comes a myriad of incredible societal and environmental changes yet to be seen.

WellTech is an entirely new industry where technology is being used to help us monitor and regulate our health on a micro scale. Everyday wearables will measure our health at all times with multiple data points. This is a bright future for the human health.

The tone of a lot of shows/movies and conversations over the past few years has been grim, with a dystopian type of zombie flavor to it. I don't think we're headed there. I see it differently -

I aim to help build a world where sustainable technology is the norm and holistic health is prevalent.

As a digital professional, I feel the responsibility to utilize my skills for the better.

I can redesign websites for basic trade businesses until I’m blue in the face. At the end of the day, that's just not fulfilling to me. (No offense to the awesome trade businesses out there!) So I chose to niche down into something that will fulfill my heart and soul - tech, health and wellness businesses who are working to make a positive change to the lives of the individuals they serve. This includes, but is certainly not limited to:

  • Technology based and wellness-focused apps, devices, softwares, A.I. or Machine Learning
  • Patient-care focused tech products in healthcare
  • Legal Cannabis businesses or products - law firms, marketing and consulting firms, cultivation or extraction facilities
  • Holistic Health Practitioners -
  • Physical trainers/fitness professionals
  • Emotional support - therapists of any type
  • Social support organizations
  • Spiritual practitioners - reiki masters, tarot card readers and other psychic practitioners
  • Intellectual/cognitive coaches - public speakers, career, life or financial coaches
  • Personal Branding for individuals

Again, I'm not limited to this list - if you don’t see something close to your niche listed above, please don’t hesitate to reach out anyway! I love to help people and even if I can’t assist, I have a network of trusted professionals I can refer you to.

I’m here to help make the change in society that we all see happening.

I see a subtle awakening of the people and I’m here to support the back end of these new companies ushering in change. I’m here to create nice logos, produce some colors and graphics, and apply those to websites and media presences that are integrated with and truly showcase a business and it's people. Branding and media are essential for any business in this day and age. I understand and support the mission of these new businesses and I're doing everything I can to help support them!

I appreciate you reading this far.

If you or someone you know is a real change maker and needs some help, please let them know about me.

A crucial part to keeping this project on the rails is outlining your end goals to keep you motivated, creating a table of contents with an outline as well as setting up your editorial calendar. It's a few simple yet effective and efficient way to be disciplined about writing something meaningful. First, we’ll discuss what a goal for this type of project looks like. Goals work best when set high and with specificity. Defining your overall goal with a blog to book project goes hand-in-hand with the last stage of defining subject matter and target audience. Think about your real goal with this project because it will end up taking a good chunk of time to complete, so defining an ideal outcome is only logical. One person’s goal might be, “Complete the book project within 3 months and use it to make 4-5 new business connections via the content and promotion” Another person’s goal might be a little more lofty, “Complete the book within 1 year, self-publish and promote to larger publishers, sell at least 15K copies digitally and 10K copies in print within the next 4 years.” Take this goal as far as you want to take it. There’s not really a limit and from what I know about the law of attraction, writing some crazy goals helps you get somewhere! Imagine what you could do with the book and take it there. If it flops, you’ve just had a great practice round to start on the next one. Just keep criticism at the forefront of your adjustments and keep moving in the direction you want to take this thing. You’ll get there if you put in the work! On that note - I highly suggest reading or listening to the book The War of Art by Stephen Pressfield teaches some incredible thinking about resistance when it comes to writing and producing artwork. This is one audiobook that I listen to regularly. The tone of voice of the book, along with Mr. Pressfield’s actual voice narrating the audiobook provides some thoughtful ass kicking for your brain, and your ego.

Turning a blog into a book is a top-down approach to developing a massive footprint online. In this article, I discuss the first stage of that process; determining subject matter and target audience. No joking about Yeti's, I promise...thats a serious matter...
